Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor children’s indoor and outdoor activities
- Keep records of children’s progress, routines and interests and relaying needed information to parents
- Assist in preparing and serving snacks
- Maintain a clean and sterile environment
- Write and/or follow lesson plan for specific age group
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or GED is required
- 2 years of proven experience in this field
- Ability to obtain Pediatric First Aid/CPR certification and pass all background screening
- Ability to complete Health & Safety Training and Mandatory Reporter Training within 90 days of hire
Other Qualifications
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift, bend and stand
- Understanding and ability to use apps and technology for communication between teachers and parents
