Responsibilities

  • Supervise and monitor children’s indoor and outdoor activities
  • Keep records of children’s progress, routines and interests and relaying needed information to parents
  • Assist in preparing and serving snacks
  • Maintain a clean and sterile environment
  • Write and/or follow lesson plan for specific age group

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • 2 years of proven experience in this field
  • Ability to obtain Pediatric First Aid/CPR certification and pass all background screening
  • Ability to complete Health & Safety Training and Mandatory Reporter Training within 90 days of hire

Other Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift, bend and stand
  • Understanding and ability to use apps and technology for communication between teachers and parents
